Virus Help with Peppermint

It is the time of year to work on our immune systems and also learn about virus help.


Viruses on this planet are in the multitudes. They are found in the coldest part of this planet as well as inside boiling springs. There are viruses high in the atmosphere and in the deep wells of the earth. They live in the mountain tops and in the ocean.


I would llike to attempt to help with herbs certain symptoms of viruses and make our life better until we are back to our normal.



PEPPERMINT.

This herb is specific for spasming. It works as well in the lungs as it does in our G.I. tract aiding digestion. It opens the sinuses and clears the head and also brings mental clarity as well.


Peppermint is high in calcium, magnesium, and potassium. It is a nutrient dense herb. It has some viral activity against influenza.


Peppermint is not recommended for people with hiatial hernias or acute gallstones.


Peppermint for the bath:

1/2 cup dried peppermint

1/2 cup dried rosemary

1/4 c dried juniper berries

These herbs are in one large bag. Brew the tea in 1 quart hot water for 7-10 minutes. Pour into your bath water checking the temperature before immersing your body. Rest and breathe! Discard the bag after brewing.


Peppermint foot soak:

1/4 cup rose petals

2 Tablespoons lemon balm

2 Tablespoons peppermint

These herbs are in one large bag. Brew the tea in 1 quart hot water for 7-10 minutes. Pour into your foot bath water checking the temperature before immersing your feet. Rest and breathe deeply. Discard the bag after brewing.


Tea for drinking:

Peppermint, lemon and honey as well as cranberry echinacea. (specific for sore throat) Check on the website.


For mucus in the lungs with a cough or not:

Guaifenesin (mucinex is a good one) 600 mg a day. Guaifenesin is a compound isolated from plants in the Guaiacum genus. It will help thin and stimulate the expectoration of mucus from the lungs. Add to your nebulizer essential oils of peppermint and eucalyptus daily until cleared.
